In our business, there are two key stakeholders - drivers and customers - who both play significant roles in the success of OLA. Listening and working with them is critical to achieving our business goals. In this role you will be leading relationships with key individuals across Ola and our user base to recommend and deliver continuous improvement to our operations.

What You'll Do

  • Responsibility for launching Ola Cabs across the North of England then continue to grow revenues and ridership within that geography
  • Own the P&L for the entire region
  • Define regional strategy for growth within your geography
  • Lead an amazing team of talented people across the region
  • Engage a wide range of stakeholder across the government/local councils and commercial operations as well as internally
  • Develop and share best practices across the regions for all aspects of Ola operations
  • Oversee local regulatory concerns and local politics within the region
  • Represent Ola at local events and with local PR
  • Initiate/Drive/Execute creative local marketing strategies and user growth campaigns
  • Drive and build the local alliances (Supply and Demand)

What You'll Need

  • Proven track record of operational excellence, from a people and a commercial perspective
  • Demonstrable entrepreneurial expertise, you’ve hustled and made things happen, you might have even run your own business
  • Driven to make things happen, when you have said they will happen
  • Talented at forming and motivating high performing teams, you know how to get the best out of people and naturally inspire them
  • Very comfortable at telling stories using data and manipulating a variety of analytical tools
  • Experienced at operating within a fast paced, tech driven organisation
  • Self-motivated, works independently and possesses strong organization and time management skills
  • comfortable in operating in environments when you dont know all the answers and can deal with ambiguity readily
  • Willingness to travel in the UK and globally
